Samsung to release “Galaxy Watch Ultra” with Watch 7 lineup

Samsung to release

Samsung is expected to unveil several new products at its upcoming Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place on July 10. Among the expected novelties is the Galaxy Watch 7, which, according to previous reports, will be presented in three different versions.

A recent report from AndroidHeadlines sheds more light on Samsung’s upcoming devices. It seems that the Galaxy Watch 7 series, like the Galaxy 6 line, will have two models: the standard Galaxy Watch 7 and the Watch 7 Classic.

However, Samsung may introduce a completely new Ultra line, the debut product of which will be the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

The new smartwatch was spotted by the folks at AndroidHeadlines, who found its name in a certification database that confirms its existence. It seems that Samsung may follow in Apple’s footsteps by introducing an “Ultra” variant alongside the main series.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra has been spotted in three different models: SM-L705U for the US, SM-L705N for Korea, and SM-L705F for the global market.

However, apart from these details, nothing else is known about the upcoming Samsung smartwatch.

Earlier it was reported that Samsung is upping the ante by doubling the internal memory of the Galaxy Watch 7 to 32 GB, which is a significant improvement over the 16 GB that previous models had.

The increased storage capacity will give users more space to download apps, watch faces, and store music playlists offline.

The Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to run Wear OS 5 based on Android 14. In addition to smartwatches, Samsung is rumored to present its new folding phone, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy Buds 3 headphones.
