Today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fit 3, the successor to the Galaxy Fit 2, which was officially launched in 2020. The new fitness tracker from Samsung boasts a larger display and a bigger battery that can last up to 13 days. The Galaxy Fit 3 has a 1.57-inch AMOLED display that can be customized with 100+ watch faces available through the Galaxy Wearable app. Although Samsung did not disclose the battery capacity of the device, it confirmed that once fully charged, it can last up to 13 days in normal use. According to previous reports, the Fit 3 seems to be equipped with a 208 mAh battery. As a reminder, the Galaxy Fit 2 was equipped with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display and a 159 mAh battery.
Galaxy Fit 3 can track your heart rate, sleep, stress levels, and exercise. The tracked data can be viewed on a connected phone through the Samsung Health app. Although the device does not have a GPS function, it is equipped with sensors such as an accelerometer and gyroscope.
The Galaxy Fit 3 supports features such as remote camera, find my phone, emergency SOS, fall detection, do not disturb, and sleep mode. It does not support voice calls as it does not have a microphone and speaker. It comes with an aluminum body equipped with a silicone strap. Finally, it is IP68 and 5ATM dust and water resistant.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy Fit 3 has a 256 x 402 pixel display with a pixel density of 302 ppi, 16 MB of RAM, and 256 MB of storage. It does not allow users to install third-party applications.
Galaxy Fit 3 is targeted at markets such as Asia, Central America, South America, and Europe. Sales are scheduled to start on February 23, but the price has not yet been disclosed. The fitness tracker will be available in such shades as gray, silver, and rose gold.
