Redmi Pad Pro global release is coming soon

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Pad Pro in its home market of China just last week. But it looks like its worldwide availability may be just around the corner. The company’s next-generation tablet has just been spotted on another major certification platform, hinting at an imminent global launch.

Redmi Pad Pro spotted at the FCC

Earlier this week, the global variant of the Redmi Pad Pro appeared on Google Play, revealing its key specifications. This listing included model numbers (2405CRPFDL for Latin America and 2405CRPFDG for the rest of the world) and hardware. Now the tablet has visited the FCC with model numbers 2405CRPFDL. According to the latest reports, the Redmi Pad Pro will run on a custom HyperOS 1.0 shell based on Android OS.

The global variant is expected to have specifications identical to the Chinese version. For those who don’t know, the Redmi Pad Pro features a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. For photography, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the front and back.

A massive 10,000 mAh battery powers this device, which supports 33W of wired fast charging.
