Redmi Pad Pro will soon be released on the global market. The global version of the tablet was recently spotted in the Google Play Console and FCC databases. Now the device has received a certificate from the Singaporean IMDA authority. With numerous certifications in tow, it looks like the Pad Pro will soon be hitting the global market.
Redmi Pad Pro is IMDA certified
As you can see above, the Redmi Pad Pro with the model number 2405CRPFDG has appeared in the IMDA database. Judging by the listing, this will be a Wi-Fi only version, which means it may not have cellular support like its Chinese counterpart.
The IMDA listing does not contain any additional information about the device’s specifications. However, it seems that it will have the same characteristics as its Chinese counterpart.
Technical specifications of the Redmi Pad Pro
The Redmi Pad Pro has a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs Android 14 with a layer of HyperOS on top. In China, the device is available with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Under the hood of the Redmi Pad Pro is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip and a 10,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The front panel has an 8-megapixel camera for video calls. On the back of the device is an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash.
A rebranded version of the same tablet, the Poco Pad, is also reported to be coming to the global market in the coming days.
