Realme 12 Pro will receive Sony IMX882 main camera, 12 Pro+ - IMX890

Realme will launch the Realme 12 Pro series of smartphones on January 29. Until now, it was believed that the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ would have the same Sony IMX890 main camera. However, the poster shows that the 12 Pro has a different primary camera sensor.

The Realme 12 Pro+ will feature the Sony IMX890 camera sensor, which is widely used in flagship and sub-flagship phones. The Realme 12 Pro, on the other hand, will feature an all-new Sony IMX882 camera sensor. According to reports, the IMX882 sensor is identical to the LYT-600 sensor found in phones like the Oppo Reno 11 5G and Vivo S18e available in the Chinese market.

The rear camera of the 12 Pro+ will feature a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, the 12 Pro is expected to feature a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. Both devices also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

According to reports, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will feature 16-megapixel and 32-megapixel front cameras, respectively. While the Pro variant may be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the Pro+ will have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

Currently, there is no information about the price of the Realme 12 Pro series. The series can be equipped with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED FHD+ display, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. There is currently no information on the price of the Realme 12 Pro series.
