Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is preparing to launch a new tablet, the Redmi Pad Pro, on April 10 in China. On the eve of the launch, the MySmartPrice team spotted the upcoming Redmi tablet with the model number 2405CRPFDC in the 3C certification database. The Redmi Pad Pro 3C certification list shows support for 33W fast charging. Let’s take a look at the details.
The upcoming Xiaomi tablet with the model number 2405CRPFDC has received 3C certification. This must be the upcoming Redmi Pad Pro tablet, as it will be launched later this week. According to the 3C listing, the charging adapter with model number MDy-16-ED was used for testing, which provides 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), and 33W (11V/3A) output power.
The first POCO tablet may be a rebranded Redmi tablet
Redmi Pad Pro may debut on the global market under the POCO brand. For those who don’t know, POCO tablet with the model number 2405CPCFBG was spotted at the EEC certification a few weeks ago. The model number of the upcoming POCO tablet seems to be similar to the Redmi Pad Pro, which indicates a rebranding.
In addition, the POCO Stylus Pen has recently received a certificate from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), suggesting that a stylus-enabled POCO tablet is in the works. Xiaomi has already shown stylus support for the Redmi Pad Pro, which again suggests that the upcoming POCO tablet could be a rebranded version of it.
Redmi Pad Pro will feature a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a high refresh rate and 2.5K resolution. It can be equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery and is expected to ship with HyperOS pre-installed.
