Poland hands over 5,000 Starlink terminals to Ukraine

Ukraine has received another 5,000 Starlink terminals from Poland. They will provide communications for frontline areas, hospitals and schools.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov:

“We are sending some of the terminals to ensure uninterrupted communication in the frontline areas. Critical infrastructure facilities will also receive the terminals.”

Today, about 47,000 Starlinks are in operation in Ukraine, thanks to agreements between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and international donors and partners. Poland provided the most terminals – 19.5 thousand in total.

“I am grateful to the Government and the Ministry of Digitalization of Poland, as well as the National Institute of Communications for their strong support in providing communications in Ukraine,” Fedorov adds.
