Poco F6 global launch soon, spotted on NBTC

The Poco F6 and F6 Pro are steadily making their way through certification before the global launch. After the Pro version appeared on the NBTC certification website in Thailand back in March, the standard F6 also appeared there. This indicates that the launch of the smartphone is not far off.

Poco F6 visits NBTC

Poco F6 appeared on the certification under the model number “24069PC12G”. The “G” at the end hints that this is a global variant. But, as usual, NBTC certification does not reveal any features or parameters of the device.

The device recently appeared in Geekbench with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 14. It scored 1844 points in the single-core test and 4799 points in the multi-core test.

Poco F6 is rumored to be a rebrand of the Chinese exclusive Redmi Turbo 3. The phone has the same chipset as the F6 and is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Turbo 3 display has a diagonal of 6.67 inches and is an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support.

The camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor on the back. But if rumors are to be believed, the Poco F6 may have a triple rear camera with a macro lens. The device may be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and support 90W fast charging.

In addition, a special Deadpool-style version of the Poco F6 was also spotted on the HyperOS code base, although no details about it have been revealed.

The Poco F6 is expected to be launched sometime in June. We are likely to learn more about its features and specifications in the coming days.
