POCO C61 appeared in the list of Google Play consoles

POCO is working on a C-series smartphone. It is the successor to POCO C51, which was introduced last April. Last week, POCO C61 was spotted in the list of supported Play devices. Now the smartphone has appeared in the Google Play Console list. In it, you can see the front panel design of the device, as well as its key features.

POCO C61 is registered under the model number 2312BPC51H. The rendering in the certificate shows a smartphone with a centered perforation notch and a screen surrounded by thin bezels. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side. The device will have a display resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels and a screen density of 320 DPI.

As for the hardware, the Google Play Console listing shows that POCO C61 has an SoC codenamed MediaTek MT6765X. It consists of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and four more Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz. This indicates that it is a Helio G36 chipset. The smartphone has 4 GB of RAM and will run Android 14 out of the box.

Other details about the POCO C61 have not been disclosed. The device has already received Bluetooth SIG and BIS certificates. There are rumors that the smartphone may be an updated Redmi A3, which was launched in India last month. It is also powered by the same processor as the upcoming C61. However, there may be some minor differences. POCO’s C-series phones have often been rebranded versions of Redmi phones.
