In January, Digital Chat Station claimed that Oppo K12 would be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Today, the same informant published a new post on Weibo, in which he revealed other details about the smartphone. Although the leaker didn’t mention a launch timeframe for the device, it looks like it may not be long before it blows the lid off in China.
Oppo K12 specifications (rumored)
According to DCS, the Oppo K12 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch display, which looks like it will be an AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the device will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.
There is no information on the battery capacity or charging capabilities of the K12. The device will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a triple camera of 50 megapixels + 8 megapixels + 2 megapixels on the back.
It is not known whether Oppo K12 will inherit the display, camera, and battery characteristics of the Oppo K11, which was announced in July 2023 in China. The K11 was equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 782G chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a triple camera with OIS: 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3, which was launched last year, was a revised version of the Oppo K11. Therefore, it is likely that Nord CE 4 or 5, which will be released this year, may be based on K12.
