AnTutu publishes updated monthly top lists for January 2024. According to them, MediaTek chips top the lists of both flagship and killer chips.
Oppo Find X7 tops the list of flagships. While the Redmi K70E retains its position as the main player in the list of flagship killers.
Oppo Find X7 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The 16 GB + 1 TB version of the phone tops the AnTuTu flagship list for January 2024. It scores 2209832 points.
The Dimensity 9300 is the world’s first flagship mobile smartphone platform to use exclusively large ARM cores. It consists of 4 Cortex-X4 cores and 4 Cortex-A720 cores.
The chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 3rd generation 4nm process technology. It is equipped with a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU that supports ray tracing at the hardware level,
On the other hand, the Redmi K70E has a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset. This SoC is also paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The 12GB + 512GB variant of the phone topped the list of AnTuTu killer flagships for January 2024, scoring 1382150 points.
The Dimensity 8300 mobile platform uses the traditional ARM big.LITTLE architecture. Its processor includes 4 Cortex-A715 cores and 4 Cortex-A510 cores. The Mali-G615 MC6 graphics processor is responsible for graphics.
The chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 2nd generation 4nm process. Ultra in the name means customization from Xiaomi.
If we look at the top 10, we can see that MediaTek tops the list of flagship killers with 8 devices, while Qualcomm competitively retains its crown with 6 devices on the flagship list.
