Oppo has introduced the Oppo A3 Pro mid-range smartphone in China. Interestingly, this is the first mid-range smartphone in recent times to be certified to IP69, IP68, and IP66 standards. The company claims that it is a fully waterproof smartphone that can withstand hot water, soaking, and heavy water splashes. The device features Oppo Crystal Glass on the front and back. In addition, it is the first smartphone to receive the Swiss SGS Gold Label drop resistance certificate on a 5-point scale, and has also passed the shock resistance test according to the national military standard in China. Specifications and features of Oppo A3 Pro
The Oppo A3 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 950 nits of brightness. For added security, it has an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The phone comes with Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.
The A3 Pro has the Dimensity 7050 chipset on board. The mid-range phone comes with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 12GB of virtual RAM, and 256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Oppo A3 Pro has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. On the back there is a 64-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera supports FHD video recording at up to 30 frames per second, while the main camera on the back supports 4K video recording at up to 30 frames per second. In addition, the device offers other specifications such as dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB-C port.
Oppo A3 Pro price
Oppo A3 Pro was introduced in China in three variants: 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. These variants are priced at 1,999 yuan (~$275), 2,199 yuan (~$300), and 2,499 yuan (~$345). It is available in shades such as Azure (glass back), Mountain Blue (leather back), and Yunjin Pink (leather back). There is no word yet on whether it will be released on the global market.
