ChatGPT is now available on WhatsApp. Through WhatsApp, ChatGPT is available wherever OpenAI offers its chatbots, without the need to create an account. OpenAI is working on authenticating existing users via WhatApp, although the company did not say when this feature might be launched. It is worth noting that Meta offers its own chatbot on WhatsApp.
“We’re just starting to work on making ChatGPT more accessible to everyone,” said Kevin Weil, Chief Product Officer at OpenAI, during a recent OpenAI 12 Days live stream. According to Weil, these features came about as a result of the company’s recent hack week. Other recent livestreams have shown that OpenAI has made ChatGPT Search available to all free users and has taken its Sora video generation out of private preview mode.
