Open Data Academy is launching a new initiative to help empower digital transformation professionals at the local level. Project participants will be able to attend open data trainings at various levels. This will allow them to deepen their knowledge of open data and use it more effectively in their work.
The program is designed for digital transformation specialists working in local governments. They will be able to develop new skills in working with open data at the Open Data Academy trainings. The initiative aims to develop the open data sector and improve the skills of civil servants.
The trainings will be useful:
- decision-makers on digitalization at the level of local governments;
- open data specialists in local communities;
- to contractors involved in the digitalization of data at the local level.
Participants will be able to choose the level of training they wish to attend:
Basic – the concept of open data, skills of working with it, successful use cases;
Advanced – analytics and visualization of open data, process automation, information audit.
Open Data Academy trainings will be held:
- October 31 – in Chernivtsi;
- November 9-10 – in Lviv;
- December 14-15 – in Uzhhorod.
The dates of the trainings in Vinnytsia, Kropyvnytskyi and Odesa will be announced later.

The training is being conducted by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the USAID/UK aid project Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS) and the East Europe Foundation.
