Two months ago, OnePlus launched the Nord CE 4 worldwide. Now, the brand has announced a Lite version of the phone, the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. OnePlus has posted a microsite of the upcoming offering that reveals its design. The device will replace last year’s Nord CE 3 Lite 5G model.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is scheduled to launch on June 24 at 19:00 IST. Commenting on the launch announcement, OnePlus said that Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is set to revolutionize the budget smartphone market. It is designed to alleviate the typical day-to-day hassles that consumers face when it comes to using smartphones.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will have the same design as Nord CE 4. However, it will not have a notification slider, as there is a SIM card slot on the left side, and the power and volume buttons are located on the right. The phone has a flat frame and a pill-shaped camera module. The microsite confirms the presence of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera, as well as an additional lens that remains unknown. Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will be available in Mega Blue color.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will have an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2100 nits of peak brightness. This is a significant improvement over its predecessor’s LCD panel and 550 nits of peak brightness. The device will feature Aquatouch technology for wet-hand interaction, which can also be found in the Nord CE 4 and the premium OnePlus 12 series. It has also been confirmed that the upcoming device will be equipped with a 5500 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 5W reverse charging.
