The OnePlus Nord CE 4 has arrived on the global market. It looks the same as the OnePlus Ace 3, which debuted in China last month, but has slightly different specifications. The newest smartphone is the successor to last year’s Nord CE 3, which received significant updates, including a new design. Nord CE 4 is a mid-range offering.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 has a flat bezel with power and volume buttons on the right side and a three-step notification slider on the left side. On the back is a tablet-shaped camera module. The device is protected against dust and water according to the IP54 standard.
As for the display, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. It has an FHD+ resolution, which is downgraded from 1.5K on the Ace 3V. The device is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits peak brightness, and HDR10 certification. The smartphone also features Aquatouch display technology, which is used in OnePlus 12 premium phones, meaning that users can use the device with wet hands.
In terms of imaging, OnePlus Nord CE 4 has a dual rear camera with a 1/1.95-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. The device is capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second. The RAW HDR algorithm provides richer and more realistic images.
The global variant of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor compared to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 on the Ace 3V. It comes with 8GB of RAM as well as 8GB of virtual RAM technology. The device is available in 128 GB and 256 GB versions. The smartphone is powered by a 5500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It comes with a Battery Health Engine feature that is claimed to extend charging cycles up to four years.
In terms of software, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 comes with OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. It is confirmed that it will receive OS updates for two years. The device’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C port, GPS, and more.
