The Nubia Flip 5G, an affordable foldable phone with a flip-style design, was unveiled at the MWC 2024 tech show in February this year. At the time, the company did not confirm its launch date or price. Today, the brand has released an official poster to confirm that it will officially launch the Nubia Flip 5G on April 9 in China.
The Nubia Flip 5G, which has the model number NX724j in China, has been certified by Chinese certification platforms over the past few weeks. These certifications showed that it will be a rebranded version of the ZTE Libero Flip, which debuted with a price of 63,000 Japanese yen (~$415) in Japan in February. The Nubia Flip 5G is likely to be a rebranded version of the Libero Flip.

The Nubia Flip 5G is expected to feature a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1180 x 2790 pixels. On the outside, the device has a 1.43-inch round AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels.
Under the hood of the Nubia Flip 5G is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. TENAA certification shows that the device may come with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The device is expected to have a 4310 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Nubia The Flip 5G has a 16-megapixel camera on the front, and a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. The Flip 5G is expected to come with an IP42-rated body. It will be 7.3 mm thick and weigh 214 grams.
