New Eufy smart display monitors security cameras

Eufy launches its first portable smart display designed to allow multiple users to control and monitor security devices from a single hub. The E10 Smart Display is capable of displaying up to four live camera feeds simultaneously and can be connected to video doorbells, smart locks, or the AI-enabled Homebase S380 data hub to unlock real-time alerts and face recognition.

The E10’s specs are largely the same as those contained in a leaked brochure on Reddit in May, before Eufy’s parent company, Anker, had even announced the display hub. It features an 8-inch HD touchscreen and a 4050 mAh battery that Eufy says will last “more than 24 hours on a single charge.” It comes with a charging station and wall stand, allowing you to place it around your home or move it from room to room. For networking, the E10 supports local area network (LAN) connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi 6.

When paired with a Homebase S380 data hub, the E10 can generate a summary of events captured by cameras and security devices twice a day: in the morning, Dawn Recap, and in the evening, Dusk Recap. These summaries combine Eufy’s face and package recognition features with edited video clips to remind you of events such as package deliveries. A live feed from one of Eufy’s smart doorbells or door locks also automatically appears on the E10 screen when motion is detected or within three seconds of someone pressing the doorbell, and the visitor’s name is displayed if their face is recognized.

The E10 will be available on Amazon and Eufy’s online store for $199.99 starting June 30, with pre-sales starting today. The E10 will only work with cameras, doorbells, and smart home security devices made by Eufy, so consumers who have not joined the Eufy ecosystem will have to look elsewhere for a touchscreen hub.
