NASA invites the public to participate in virtual events ahead of the launch of SpaceX’s 31st commercial resupply mission for the agency. NASA and SpaceX plan to launch the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft on Monday, November 4, at 9:29 p.m. ET on a Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

In addition to food, supplies and equipment for the crew, Dragon will deliver several new experiments, including the COronal diagnostic experiment to study the solar wind and how it is formed, and Antarctic moss to observe the combined effects of cosmic radiation and microgravity on plants. Other research on board includes a device for testing cold welding of metals in microgravity and a study examining the effects of space on various materials.

Members of the public can register to attend the launch virtually. As a virtual guest, you will have access to specially curated resources, interactive features, and mission information delivered directly to your inbox. After the launch, virtual guests will receive a commemorative stamp for their virtual guest passport.
