Meizu 21 Pro will be released in China on February 29, key details have emerged

The Meizu 21 Pro is being prepared for launch on February 29 in China. The company intends to focus on artificial intelligence in the future, which suggests that the 21 Pro could be its latest flagship phone. Here are the details of the device that have become known so far.

Main features of Meizu 21 Pro

Meizu has officially confirmed that the Meizu 21 Pro will have a 6.79-inch screen with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner mTouch Max. The aspect ratio of the 21 Pro screen is comfortable enough for one-handed operation. In addition, the fingerprint sensor will have a larger scanning area, which will facilitate faster unlocking.

According to a new leak from Digital Chat Station, Meizu 21 Pro’s AMOLED LTPO panel will have a 2K resolution. Apparently, the screen can also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, Meizu 21 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB of RAM. Nothing is said about the device’s storage. The top-end Meizu 21 model offers 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It is likely that the Pro version may come with up to 1 TB of storage.

DCS reported that the Meizu 21 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera, which appears to be equipped with an OV50H OmniVision camera sensor. It will be joined by a telephoto camera. The leak also said that the 21 Pro engineering prototype has a periscope camera. It seems that the final device may be equipped with it, as most other competing flagship phones are equipped with periscope zoom. Other leaks claim that the device will feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
