MediaTek has finally confirmed that it will unveil the Dimensity 9300 Plus at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC) on May 7 in China. As the name suggests, it will replace the Dimensity 9300 SoC, which was announced last November. The first phone with the new chip is expected to debut shortly after the official announcement.
Technical specifications of Dimensity 9300 Plus
MediaTek has not revealed anything significant about the Dimensity 9300 Plus’s specifications. However, reports suggest that it will be an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9300. It is said to include 1 Cortex-X4 core running at 3.4GHz, 3 Cortex-X4 cores running at 2.85GHz, and 4 Cortex-A720 cores running at 2.0GHz. The SoC is also reported to include the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.
No other details about the Dimensity 9300 Plus are known. However, it is more or less likely that it will be the same as the D9300 chip. It is rumored that Vivo X100s and x100s Pro, which are expected to launch next month in China, will be the first phones with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip.
The Dimensity 9300 Plus-powered Vivo X100s was recently spotted on AnTuTu with an impressive score of 2,305,267. On Geekbench, the device was recently spotted with a single-core score of 1966 and a multi-core score of 10,244.
The Redmi K70 Ultra, which is expected to debut in June or July this year, is also expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus processor. A revised version of the same device, branded as Xiaomi 14T Pro, is expected to hit the global market later this year.
