Live image of Xiaomi 14 Ultra has appeared

Xiaomi is preparing to launch its latest smartphone series, Xiaomi 14, to a global audience on February 25. Among the expected new products is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Although there are few details about this device yet, an image has appeared on Weibo, a popular Chinese social network, which may show the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

The image was shared by a reliable Digital Chat Station informant, which likely shows the Xiaomi 14 Ultra alongside other flagship phones. Although the image is somewhat blurry, it shows that the phone is white in color and has a round camera module, which is reminiscent of previous Xiaomi Ultra flagship models.

Despite the image quality, four camera rings can be distinguished, which is consistent with previous leaks. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to have four cameras, led by a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) and variable aperture technology.

The main lens will reportedly feature Sony’s latest 1-inch LYT-900 sensor, which has only been seen in a few phones so far, such as the Oppo Find X7 Ultra. In addition, the phone is expected to have lenses for ultra-wide-angle, telephoto, and periscope-telephoto photography.

Although specific details are still scarce, we can expect the 14 Ultra to have typical flagship features. It is reasonable to expect an AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The device will most likely run HyperOS based on Android 14.

Rumors also suggest a rather large battery capacity of 5300 mAh, accompanied by support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. However, further details about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra have not yet been revealed. We’ll keep you posted on any new developments with the device.
