In 2023, 48 new stores were opened under the lifecell brand in 18 regions of Ukraine. As of the end of December 2023, the operator’s network of retail outlets totaled more than 470 stores.

Despite Russia’s full-scale military aggression against Ukraine, lifecell continues to provide its subscribers with quality services through its network of points of sale. In 2023, the number of stores almost returned to the level of the beginning of 2022 – more than 470 stores in 247 cities and towns, employing about 1000 people.

Expansion and restoration

Last year, lifecell actively expanded its sales network and opened 48 new stores in 18 regions of Ukraine, including cities where there were no brand stores before.

This was an important step towards getting closer to customers and subscribers living in different regions of the country, including Artsyz, Bobrovytsia, Burshtyn, Vilnohirsk, Horodnia, Horodok, Dolynska, Yelanets, Zhovti Vody, Ivankiv, Irshava, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kotsiubynske, Lokhvytsia, Pyriatyn, Pochaiv, Staryi Sambir, Chornobai, Yarmolyntsi.

As a result of the military aggression of the occupiers, two lifecell stores in the temporarily occupied territories were completely destroyed, and three more in the regions close to the hostilities were damaged. However, thanks to the team’s efforts, the damaged stores were restored, providing subscribers with uninterrupted access to the operator’s services.

Innovative solutions

Despite the challenges of today, lifecell is focused on supporting and satisfying its subscribers by developing and modernizing its network of stores and implementing innovative solutions to improve customer experience.

In 2023, lifecell began using the Icell app at its points of sale, which allows the operator’s stores to centrally install and monitor videos on all displays. This allows changing the visual content and unifying the visual appearance of the windows. The tool opens up opportunities for active promotion of products and services of the operator and its partners.

For the convenience of its customers, lifecell has deepened its cooperation with Meest Express postal service. The mobile operator has equipped all stores where it is possible to provide such services with the postal operator’s delivery points. In 2023, tens of thousands of customers visited lifecell stores to receive or send parcels.

What customers choose

In 2023, among the most popular services, customers of lifecell outlets most often chose to install applications and customize their smartphones. In 2023, lifecell applications (lifebox, BIP, TV+, Paycell, My lifecell) were also installed tens of thousands of times using the Hankuper service. The demand for additional services and services (“Number selection”, “Tariff subscription”, “Multisim”, etc.) has also increased significantly. Thanks to the cooperation with monobank, lifecell stores sold a large number of bank cards and goods through the “Purchase by installments” service.

Last year, the company’s starter packages and services were in the greatest demand among customers. As for additional products, routers, power banks, chargers, etc. were actively sold during power outages in early 2023. Various accessories and smartphones remained popular throughout the year.
