Kyivstar re-launches 4G mobile Internet in Ukraine

On December 15, Kyivstar specialists turned on mobile Internet access throughout the government-controlled territory. The service is available in all communication standards, including 4G.

The operator’s press service notes that the service may operate at a reduced speed for now, but as the network stabilizes, its quality will improve.

Over the past day, international roaming services have also been restored. And even earlier – voice and fixed-line Internet services.

More than 95% of mobile base stations in the government-controlled areas are in good working order. The company will announce 100% service availability upon completion of all stabilization measures.

The company is currently working to launch SMS services and restore access to the My Kyivstar system. The company’s specialists are working to resolve short-term communication problems in some localities.

If your SIM card does not register in the network, you need to restart the phone or turn airplane mode on and off. Selecting Kyivstar network in the phone settings also helps.

At the same time, the company informs that bonuses and compensations will be credited to subscribers who could not use communication services due to the hacker attack only after the network is fully stabilized and all services are launched.
