Kyivstar has announced that USSD requests for checking balance and other services are now working. They had been down for almost a month after the largest cyberattack on the operator’s infrastructure.
USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a standard service in mobile networks that helps subscribers receive instant messages from additional services. All USSD requests begin with the * symbol and end with the # symbol, followed by the short number of the required operation.
The following codes are available:
- *111# – check the main balance;
- *112# – balances on the tariff;
- *108# – SIM for the second phone;
- *107# – SIM for the second phone;
- *100# – menu;
- *123# – replenishment with a scratch card;
- *121# – roaming like at home;
- *117# – extra money;
- *124# – transfer of funds.
