Kyivstar has another outage with communication and app

On the morning of December 20, a number of cities in western and southern Ukraine experienced difficulties with voice communication and the My Kyivstar mobile application.

This happened after the company reported on December 19 that mobile Internet in the Kyiv and Kharkiv subways and the My Kyivstar mobile application had been launched.

Users write in the comments to the post on the Facebook page:

  • Lviv. The complete lack of communication was called difficulties. It’s not an inconvenience, it’s an inability.
  • These are not short-term interruptions, but the home Internet has been out for a week! From the first day of the outage, it hasn’t appeared online!
  • The connection is there, the account is topped up, but you can’t call anyone.
  • Odesa, there is no communication or mobile internet.
  • There is no connection and no internet.
  • There is no connection to the Lviv network.
  • Mykolaiv region has no connection and no internet!
  • There is no voice communication and no internet. Odesa.
  • Lviv and Drohobych regions: after 4:00, no connection or Internet.
  • Kyiv, Dniprovsky
    It’s been the ninth day without home internet.
  • Kyiv is not possible to replenish the account.
  • Mykolaivska is also out of service.
  • Khmelnytskyi. There was no home Internet yet. There was no information either.
  • Boryspil home internet is not available.
  • Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, yesterday my home Internet connection went down.

“The company’s specialists are working to restore services. We are doing everything possible to fix technical problems as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience,” Kyivstar said.
