The first quarter of 2024 is coming to an end soon, and the second quarter is expected to see a lot of new smartphone launches in China. iQOO is one such brand that is expected to launch as many as four new smartphones and a flagship tablet. Today, Digital Chat Station published a post on Weibo sharing the key features of some of iQOO’s upcoming devices.
Future iQOO devices for China
The screenshot above shows that DCS has shared key details about three upcoming iQOO devices. The first device will feature a 1.5K OLED panel, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) chipset, and a 6,000 mAh battery. Recent reports suggest that this device may debut on the market under the iQOO Z9 Turbo brand.
According to other reports, IQOO Z9 Turbo will debut in April. The Turbo model is likely to be joined by the Z9 and Z9x models, which are expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1v chipsets, respectively.
The second device mentioned in the latest leak is a tablet with a 13-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 3.1 thousand dots. It is powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset and an 11,500 mAh battery. It is likely to be called iQOO Pad 2 when it debuts in China. It is likely to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet, which was recently officially launched in China.
Finally, the leak reveals another phone iQOO with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) chipset. The device will have other features, such as a 1.5K OLED display and a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. There is currently no clarity on the final codename of this device. While some reports claim that it could be the Neo 9s or Neo 9 Racing Edition, there is a possibility that it could be the iQOO Neo 10 series phone.
