iQOO Neo 9s Pro: Leak hints at Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 120W charging at mid-range price

Rumor has it that iQOO is working on a Neo 9s Pro smartphone. It has reportedly recently appeared in China’s 3C certification database. A trusted tech insider at Digital Chat Station (DCS) has now revealed some of the key features of this upcoming phone.

According to the source, the Neo 9s Pro will be equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is usually used in top-end phones.

While Qualcomm offers a mid-range variant (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3), the Neo 9s Pro seems to bring flagship-level performance to the mid-range market. The SoC is said to be paired with a whopping 16GB of RAM.

In addition, DCS mentions that the phone will feature a flat 8-inch LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5 thousand dots. While specific details of the display are not yet known, it is possible that it will have the same 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate as the existing Neo 9 series.

The leak doesn’t give any clues about the battery capacity, but it suggests that the phone will support 120W fast charging.

As for the cameras, the 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) is said to be the highlight of the triple camera system on the back.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the leak is DCS’s statement that the phone will be “very well priced.” If this turns out to be true, the iQOO Neo 9s Pro could offer a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor at a more affordable price than ever before.

However, it is important to remember that this is still based on leaks and speculation. iQOO has not yet officially confirmed the existence of the Neo 9s Pro.

That being said, rumored specs position the phone as an interesting option for those looking for powerful performance without the flagship price.
