iQOO Neo 9 has hit Geekbench, confirming its specifications

The iQOO Neo 9 will launch in China on December 27, with a global launch expected in January. The new iQOO Neo 9 series will include Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones. Along with the new smartphones, the company is also introducing iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e headphones. There have already been several rumors and leaks confirming some of the iQOO Neo 9 specifications. Today, the device appeared in Geekbench with the model code V2338A, confirming the rest of the specification details.

Geekbench confirms the presence of an octa-core SoC with a maximum clock speed of 3.19 GHz, which resembles Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In addition, a variant with 16 GB of RAM running Android 14 was spotted on the benchmarking site. It received 2081 points in the single-core test and 5818 points in the multi-core test.

Specifications and features of the iQOO Neo 9 series

In addition to the above details, there is a lot of information about the hardware that is revealed through leaks and public certifications. It is expected that the smartphone will be available in three color variants: black, blue, and red and white two-tone. As confirmed by the benchmark list, the iQOO Neo 9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will come with a Dimensity 9300 SoC.

In addition, the iQOO Neo 9 and Pro can be equipped with a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1260p). The display will support 144Hz refresh rates, and the devices can be powered by a Q1 chip. Both smartphones are expected to be equipped with a 5160 mAh battery with a 120W charging capacity.

Along with the high-end SoC, the smartphones will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, including 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB combinations.

As for the cameras, the smartphones will have a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Neo 9’s rear camera will feature a 50MP Sony IMX 920 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the other hand, the smartphone will be equipped with the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which can come with 2×5 MP sensors, including Sony IMX920 with OIS and Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens. It will ship with OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.

Meanwhile, the global and Indian versions will be released in January with a different chipset. According to some rumors, the Indian version will have minor changes and modifications.
