The Honor company is preparing to unveil its first ever folding smartphone soon. The upcoming folding device has been rumored before, and now a fresh leak has revealed the launch dates and design of the Magic Flip. So, here are all the details.

In our previous report, we talked about a leak that suggested that Magic Flip would be released at the Spring Festival in China. Now this information has been confirmed again by the same informant on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). For those who don’t know, the Spring Festival in China will take place from February 10 to 17, 2024. In addition, the informant also shared an image that offers us a glimpse of the new flip phone.
The image shows the design of the Magic Flip back panel with two circular ring modules. The upper module probably contains image sensors, while the lower one is the outer cover display. Thus, the design looks quite similar to the folding clamshell phones from the former parent company Huawei. Based on what we know at the moment, the Magic Flip is powered by a 4500 mAh battery, which consists of a dual-cell 2420 mAh + 1980 mAh battery.
