HyperX, HP’s gaming hardware division, has launched a range of new peripheral products at its annual ‘Level Awakening 2026’ event on August 20th. The lineup includes updated gaming headsets, microphones, and mice, catering to the evolving needs of gamers.

Cloud Alpha Air: The Open-Back Gaming Headset

A standout release is the Cloud Alpha Air, HyperX’s first open-back gaming headset. This design addresses a common limitation of open-back headphones by incorporating a bass tube structure, aiming to deliver both a spacious, natural soundstage and deep, resonant bass. The headset features 40mm neodymium drivers with a frequency response range of 20-20000Hz, a sensitivity of 97dB, and a total harmonic distortion of ≤2%. It also includes an omnidirectional microphone with a sensitivity of -42dBV. Built with a steel headband and memory foam earcups, the Cloud Alpha Air is priced at $149.99.

SoloCast 2 Pro: Enhanced Microphone Performance

The new SoloCast 2 Pro microphone boasts a cardioid pickup pattern, ideal for focused vocal recording. It utilizes a dual condenser pickup structure, a built-in pop filter, and an integrated suspension system to minimize unwanted noise. Key features include tap-to-mute functionality, onboard DSP for advanced audio settings such as dynamic range compression and frequency filtering, and an RGB lighting ring. This microphone is available for $89.99.

Pulsefire Haste 3 Pro: Next-Generation Gaming Mouse

HyperX also introduced the Pulsefire Haste 3 Pro, positioned as their next-generation flagship mouse. Constructed with forged carbon fiber, it houses a 42000DPI optical sensor and 100 million click-rated optical micro-switches. The mouse offers impressive battery life, lasting 150 hours at a 1kHz polling rate and 35 hours at an 8kHz polling rate. Weighing just 47g, the Pulsefire Haste 3 Pro is priced at $129.99.

Pulsefire Haste 3 Family Expands

In addition to the Pro model, HyperX announced two other variants within the Pulsefire Haste 3 family. The Wireless model is priced at $89.99, while the Wired model, touted as HyperX’s lightest wired mouse, comes in at $39.99.

OMEN Desktop and New Monitors

Beyond the peripherals, HyperX is also set to release the OMEN 35L gaming desktop, powered by AMD processors. Users can configure it with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards. Furthermore, HyperX confirmed the upcoming launch of a new series of monitors, though specific details were not provided.
