Huawei's new 4G phone appears on 3C certification

Huawei’s mysterious new device has recently appeared on the Chinese certification platform under the model number GFY-AL00. The phone has just received China’s national 3C certification, which is a mandatory procedure before any smartphone can hit the market.

Initial details suggest that this could be a new budget or mid-range offering from the tech giant.

Although we don’t know the exact model yet, the certification provides some key information about the smartphone. First, the GFY-AL00 is a 4G-enabled device, so it’s not a premium offering.

Secondly, the phone is equipped with support for wired fast charging with a power of up to 22.5W. This is in line with several of Huawei’s current budget offerings.

The new phone’s 22.5W charging capability is in line with the recently released Huawei Enjoy 70. The latter also has a massive 6000 mAh battery and a competitive starting price of about $170.

The Huawei Enjoy 70 features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display and runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 operating system. It is powered by a Kirin 710A processor, again without 5G support, has 8GB of RAM, and is available in 128GB and 256GB variants.

As for the cameras, the Enjoy 70 has an 8-megapixel lens for selfies and video calls. And on the back, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel lens for macro photography. For security, it has a side fingerprint sensor.

As for the new smartphone Huawei GFY-AL00, there are few details so far. However, it is safe to say that it will not be a top-of-the-line model. Rest assured, we will keep you updated with any new information as it becomes available.
