New data suggests that the Huawei Pura 70 series, recently launched in China, may soon enter the global market.
Two models from this line, the standard Huawei Pura 70 (model number ADY-LX9) and Pura 70 Pro (model number HBN-LX9), were spotted on the SIRIM website in Malaysia.
SIRIM certification is a mandatory requirement to gain access to the Malaysian market. This means that certified products meet the safety standards for electrical and digital equipment. The certification process often precedes the launch of a product in the region.
Although Huawei has not officially announced the global rollout of the Pura 70 series, the SIRIM listing indicates an imminent launch in Malaysia. After that, Huawei may release the smartphones in other regions.
However, so far only two models from the series are on the list, and the Pura 70 Pro+ and 70 Ultra are not in the certification database.
Specifications of Huawei Pura 70 / 70 Pro
In terms of specifications, both smartphones feature an OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Kunlun protective glass on the front. But the screen size is different: The Pura 70 has a 6.6-inch display, while the Pro has a slightly larger 6.8-inch screen.
The Pura 70 is powered by the Kirin 9000S1 chip, which is a down-locked version of the Kirin 9000S chip. While the Pro model has the new Kirin 9010 chip. Regardless of the SoC, you can choose up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
Speaking of cameras, the standard model is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The Pro model retains the main lens, but has a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48-megapixel telephoto.
All of this is powered by a 5050 mAh battery on the Pura 70 Pro with 100W charging support, while the Pura 70 has a smaller 4900 mAh battery with 66W wired charging support.
