HP launched new budget 2K 100Hz monitor for work and casual gaming

HP has introduced a new addition to its Omen monitor lineup in China, the D27qs, aimed at budget-conscious users who prioritize performance over price. The monitor is already available for pre-order on JD.com at a price of 899 yuan (approximately 124 USD). Let’s check out its key features.

HP Omen D27qs specifications:

The monitor features a 27-inch 2K IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The IPS panel promises vivid colors with 8-bit color depth and wide viewing angles of 178°, which ensures consistent color reproduction from different positions.

The monitor comes with a 100Hz refresh rate, which provides a smoother image than traditional 60Hz monitors. This can be useful in fast-paced games where every frame counts. Although the refresh rate is not the highest available, the D27qs offers a significant improvement over standard monitors for faster response in gaming.

For eye comfort, the D27qs includes features such as a flicker-free screen and blue light reduction settings. These features help minimize eyestrain during extended work by adjusting the blue light output and providing a flicker-free image. In addition, the monitor comes with different modes such as reading mode and night mode to meet different viewing conditions and needs.

The HP Omen D27qs has a three-sided micro-edge design that maximizes screen area and minimizes bezels for a nearly unlimited viewing experience. For added flexibility, the D27qs features an adjustable stand that allows users to tilt the screen from -5° to +20° for a comfortable viewing position. In addition, the monitor supports VESA wall mounting for space-saving installation.

HP The Omen D27qs features multiple connection options, including 2 HDMI ports and 1 DP port, which are suitable for a variety of devices such as PCs, laptops and game consoles. The monitor also has a built-in 3.5mm audio output for connecting headphones or speakers. HP backs the monitor with a three-year warranty that includes free replacement parts and technical support.
