FAW Hongqi has officially launched the all-new Hongqi H7, a plug-in hybrid sedan that has already set a Guinness World Record for its impressive range. The new model enters the market with a limited-time exchange offer that significantly lowers its price, making advanced hybrid technology more accessible.

The newly launched Hongqi H7 boasts an extraordinary range of 2916.171 kilometers on a single full tank and charge, earning it the Guinness World Record title for ‘Farthest distance driven on a single full tank and charge by a production plug-in hybrid sedan’. This achievement also positions it as the ‘Longest range passenger car’ according to Guinness World Records.
Alongside this remarkable feat, Hongqi is offering the new H7 with attractive pricing. The official guide price ranges from 191,800 to 231,800 yuan. However, through a limited-time exchange program, the prices are reduced to a range of 168,800 to 208,800 yuan. Specifically, the models are priced as follows:

Advanced Technology and Design Features
The new Hongqi H7 measures 5060mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2970mm. It features the ‘Liu Ying Chuan Yun’ exterior design, which includes industry-first front-row gradient soundproof privacy glass and semi-hidden door handles. Inside, the cabin is enhanced with ‘Xing He Huan Rao’ (Starry River Surround) ambient lighting and ‘Ri Chu Dong Fang’ (Sunrise in the East) speakers. It also debuts three major intelligent sound technologies from BOSE.
Underpinning the vehicle is Hongqi’s ‘Hong Hu’ super hybrid technology. The H7 offers a CLTC pure electric range of 240km and a combined range of 1954km. Its fuel consumption, with a depleted battery, is rated at 4.4L per 100km under WLTC conditions. The vehicle supports an AI intelligent energy management system and offers a choice between ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate dual battery packs.
The four-wheel-drive version of the new Hongqi H7 is particularly potent, delivering a combined power output of 479kW and 871N·m of torque. It achieves a braking distance of 35.8 meters from 100 km/h.
Intelligent Cockpit and Driving Assistance
The new Hongqi H7 comes pre-installed with the Lingxi Cockpit 5.0 system, powered by the 8295P intelligent cabin chip. It features a large 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen and a 30-inch adaptive AR-HUD. For driving assistance, it utilizes the Hongqi Sinan combination system, offering capabilities such as full-scenario urban navigation assistance, full-scenario highway navigation assistance, and full-scenario intelligent parking assistance.
