Google is expected to release the Pixel 9 series next month. According to a previous teaser, the phone could be unveiled on 08/13/2024. However, it looks like the Pixel 9 has already been sold to a user in Algeria. The image of the phone shows that this time it will be pink in color. The real-life image also reveals the design language of the new Pixel.

Google reintroduces a new back design that stands out from the crowd

Google has redesigned the unique island module of Pixel devices in the Google Pixel 9 series, which is in line with previously shown renders. The protrusion of the camera island has also increased significantly. It is now confirmed that the Pixel 9 will have a flat back and flat sides. While Google has moved away from its previous unique camera bar design, the new design is just as distinctive and stands out from the crowd.

Google Pixel 8 Pro offers an interesting Bay color option that looks interesting. Although pink is not a widely used color for smartphones, it could be a contrasting option for the upcoming series.

Speaking of pink, this is the first time Google is using it on its Pixel phones. This new color is likely to be targeted at female users. In recent years, Google has been using colors like blue, green, pink, and mint, along with the more traditional black and gray in its phones.

Inside the Pixel 9 will be a Tensor G4 chip, which reportedly has a configuration of 1×Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.1 GHz, 3×Cortex-A720 clocked at 2.6 GHz, and 4×Cortex-A520 clocked at 1.95 GHz. The phone pictured is a 256 GB model.

The Google Pixel 9 has already appeared on Geekbench, revealing the raw processor power of the Tensor G4 chipset. The phone scored 1653 and 3313 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
