Some Google Pixel users have found that their At a Glance widget is showing outdated weather forecasts, according to Android Police, but the company claims to be working on a solution.
According to one Reddit user who has experienced the issue, “the current temperature is pretty accurate, but the expected high/low temperature forecast hasn’t been correct for the past week.” According to them, the expected temperatures in the weather app itself were also accurate.
Another user on Google’s support forums reported that the lock screen of his Pixel 8A showed “the weather for the correct location, but in the morning it showed yesterday’s forecast as ‘today’s’ temperature, and in the evening it showed today’s forecast as ‘tomorrow’s’ weather.”
In a statement this afternoon, Google spokesperson Matthew Flegal said that “we are currently rolling out a fix for an issue that is causing outdated weather forecasts on the Quick Look widget for some Pixel tablet users.”
