GIGABYTE is pleased to announce the launch of powerful gaming laptops G6X and Aorus 16X, model year 2024, in Ukraine. These new products are equipped with modern 14th and 13th generation Intel HX series processors, large 16-inch fast screens, advanced and efficient GIGABYTE Windforce cooling system, and modern NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 graphics cards with increased TGP limits.
In addition to the updated hardware, GIGABYTE has added a variety of AI features to further enhance the gaming experience and speed up workflows.
AI-based tools
A set of AI-based software optimizations called GIGABYTE AI Nexus and AI Boost can recognize the game you’re playing and optimize the CPU, graphics card, and cooling fan speeds. This feature is powered by Microsoft Azure AI and improves FPS by up to 9%.
AI Boost already supports optimizations in more than 400 games. There are also special modes for digital content creators and to extend battery life.
The Ai Power Gear feature allows you to dynamically switch between an integrated and discrete graphics card depending on the working scenario and extends the battery life by up to 40 minutes.
The AI Generator tool was created by GIGABYTE in collaboration with Invoke AI and is based on the Stable Diffusion generative artificial intelligence model. In GIGABYTE G6X and Aorus 16X laptops, this AI works even without Internet access and is able to generate images based on a text description from a person.
Specifications of the GIGABYTE Aorus 16X
GIGABYTE Aorus 16X laptops are powered by Intel’s most powerful HX processors: Core i9-14900HX (24 cores, 8P / 16E), Core i7-14650HX (16 cores, 8P / 8E) or Core i7-13650HX (14 cores, 6P / 8E). The role of the discrete graphics card is played by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop or RTX 4060 Laptop, with the maximum power of the graphics card increased to 140 watts.
All GIGABYTE Aorus 16X models have two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and support up to 64GB of 5600MHz RAM (or 4800MHz in the case of Core i7-13650HX). For high-speed SSDs, there are two PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 slots with NVMe support.
Display
An important advantage of GIGABYTE Aorus 16X laptops is their 16-inch display. It supports 165Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC frame synchronization, which is important for gamers. But the display also has something to offer content creators: 100% sRGB color space coverage, up to 400 nits of brightness, high-quality color reproduction confirmed by Pantone Validated certification, and a 16:10 aspect ratio and 2560×1600 pixel resolution increase the amount of content visible on the screen at the same time.
Cooling
The GIGABYTE Windforce Infinity cooling system is capable of dissipating up to 170 watts of heat thanks to two fans, five heatpipes, and an advanced heat sink with many thin (0.1 mm) fins. When the load on the laptop is low, the cooler goes into passive mode and becomes silent. The keyboard of the GIGABYTE Aorus 16X laptops has a three-zone RGB backlight and a separate hotkey to launch Microsoft’s AI Copilot.
Connectivity and autonomy
The wireless adapter supports Wi-Fi 7 networks with a frequency of up to 6 GHz, a channel width of up to 320 MHz, 4096 QAM modulation, and a 2×2 antenna configuration. There is also a Gigabit Ethernet port. The built-in 99 Wh battery is complemented by a 240 Wh power supply and supports USB PowerDelivery 3.0 charging up to 100 Wh. The laptop weighs a moderate 2.3 kg.

GIGABYTE G6X specifications
The GIGABYTE G6X series shares many features with the Aorus 16X, but there are important differences. The GIGABYTE G6X is powered by a powerful Intel Core i7-13650HX processor (14 cores, 6P/8E), complemented by dual-channel DDR5-4800 MHz SO-DIMMs and two PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 slots.
For gaming and artificial intelligence tasks, these laptops are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or RTX 4050 graphics cards, with a maximum GPU power of 105 watts. The MUX Switch enables seamless switching between the integrated and discrete GPUs.
The main parameters of the monitor in GIGABYTE G6X laptops are similar to the Aorus 16X: 16 inches, support for a refresh rate of 165 Hz. But the resolution is now 1920×1200 pixels, which will reduce the load on the video card in games. The peak brightness of the monitor reaches 250 nits. The GIGABYTE Windforce cooling system removes up to 135 watts of thermal power.
Connectivity and autonomy
The wireless adapter works on Wi-Fi 6E networks and has a 2×2 antenna configuration, and it is complemented by a Gigabit Ethernet port. The 73 Wh battery can be charged to 50% in just 30 minutes using a 180W power supply, and is also supported by PowerDelivery 3.0 with up to 100W of power. The laptop weighs 2.5 kg.
