Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has appeared in the Google Play Console

Samsung is on the verge of announcing its upcoming affordable Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). This successor to the popular Tab S6 Lite has already passed various certification platforms, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, a new leak from the Google Play Console database sheds light on the design and key features of the tablet.

The Google Play console listing confirms the model number SM-P625 for the LTE version of the Tab S6 Lite (2024). The database shows a display resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels with a pixel density of 240 PPI, indicating a familiar 10.4-inch LCD panel similar to its predecessor.

Under the hood of the tablet will be an octa-core chipset codenamed Samsung s5e8825. The chip, which is likely to be the Exynos 1280, boasts two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz for demanding tasks, as well as six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz for better performance.

An integrated Mali-G68 GPU will be responsible for graphics processing. The listing also confirms up to 4 GB of RAM, with storage options from 64 GB to 128 GB, expandable via microSD card.

Previous leaks from certification databases such as SDPPI, TDRA, Bluetooth SIG, FCC, and UL have provided a broader view of the Tab S6 Lite (2024). This data points to a large 7040 mAh battery with a 15W charger, which should provide ample endurance on a single charge. The tablet is also expected to support the S Pen stylus.

In terms of optics, the device is rumored to have a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera without flash. It will run on Android 14 with the custom One UI 6 out of the box.

Price rumors indicate a starting price of 429 euros for a Wi-Fi only model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The LTE-enabled version is expected to cost slightly more at €459. Color options may include chiffon pink, Oxford gray, and possibly a new light green.

With the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) in the Google Play Console database, the launch of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) seems inevitable. The combination of the usual display size, powerful processor, and large battery capacity makes it an attractive option for users looking for an affordable and versatile Android tablet.
