Design and Interior Features

Customers can choose from seven vibrant exterior color options: Midsummer Purple, Lightning Yellow, Moonlit Silver, Storm Red, Lava Grey, Cloud White, and Tropical Blue. The interior is available in three distinct themes: Scorching Light Racing, Cloud Yarn Warm Rice, and Speed Track. All models feature integrated sports seats with a one-touch/voice-activated reclining function for the front passengers.

Under the hood, or rather, within its advanced tech package, the Ray7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip, paired with a substantial 24GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of UFS flash storage. This powers a large 15.6-inch 2.5K high-definition central control screen, offering comprehensive connectivity between the driver and the vehicle.

Advanced Driving Assistance and Powertrain

The new electric sedan also makes a strong statement in driver assistance technology, featuring what is described as the highest-level semi-solid-state 192-line lidar in its class. It also incorporates a class-leading, one-stage end-to-end large model for its driving assistance systems. Aerodynamics are optimized with a class-leading 0.22Cd low drag coefficient, supported by an intelligent thermal management system.

A key highlight of the Ray7’s powertrain is the integration of Huawei’s DriveONE multi-in-one electric drive system. This advanced system enables the world’s first application of Huawei DriveONE EMB (Electric Mechanical Brake) full-electric brake-by-wire technology. Furthermore, the vehicle showcases the class-first Huawei iTrack dynamic torque distribution system, promising enhanced performance and handling.

The partnership with Huawei for the electric drive system and other key technologies underscores GAC Aion’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge components to deliver a competitive and technologically advanced electric vehicle.
