The long-awaited Google Pixel 8a is not just renders and promotional posters anymore. A leaked image from TechDroider on the X platform offers a look at the upcoming Google Pixel 8a, showing off the design updates. The biggest change is the back panel, which has ditched the glossy finish of the Pixel 7a in favor of a more modern matte design.
The bezels around the display also look thinner compared to previous models, giving the phone a sleeker, more modern look. It’s important to note that these leaked images have not been confirmed by Google, but they do match previous occasional Pixel 8a appearances in Google Fi ads.
The Pixel 8a’s rumored specs include a Tensor G3 chipset, a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, and a rear camera system consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, similar to its predecessor. With an official launch expected soon, these leaks give a pretty good idea of what Google has in store for the mid-range Pixel phone market.
