Epic Games is back with its weekly free game giveaway, and this time players can grab the intriguing survival horror title, Sorry We’re Closed. This marks the second time Epic has offered the game, having previously given it away in December of last year.
For those who missed out or are new to the Epic Games Store freebies, Sorry We’re Closed is available for a limited time. While the game was previously offered for free, players who already own it won’t need to claim it again.
The game garnered some attention last year not just for its free offering, but also due to its inclusion of LGBT elements, which led to some player criticism. Epic Games addressed these concerns at the time, stating that players were welcome not to claim the game if they disagreed with its content.
About Sorry We’re Closed
Sorry We’re Closed is described as a quirky and bizarre narrative-driven survival horror game. It uniquely blends classic fixed-perspective exploration with arcade-style shooting mechanics, weaving a tale of demons, angels, and the inevitable clash between them. Players step into the shoes of Michelle, who must utilize her ‘third eye’ to see through different dimensions, uncover hidden secrets, and solve a variety of puzzles.
The game boasts full support for Simplified Chinese subtitles and interface, making it accessible to a wider audience. System requirements are quite modest, with a minimum configuration including an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and integrated graphics. The game requires only 2GB of available storage space.
On Steam, Sorry We’re Closed has a full price of ¥86.
Next Week’s Free Game
Looking ahead, Epic Games has also announced that next week’s free offering will be Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, along with Floating Worlds.
Epic Games continues its tradition of providing gamers with exciting titles through its regular free giveaways, making the Epic Games Store a must-visit destination for bargain hunters in the PC gaming community.
