The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reports on the scaling of Diia in 2024 and announces new services that will appear in 2025. These include consular services, AI, new services for drivers, and other new features in Diia.
Main achievements
The material on Channel 24’s website highlights the main achievements of the Diia team:
- In 2024, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine implemented hundreds of projects in various fields, including digital education and defense technologies, and opened the market for drones and robots.
- The Diia app has reached over 21 million users, providing 28 documents and over 30 services, including Marriage Online, and has integrated with 5000 new partners.
- The Ministry of Digital Transformation is developing artificial intelligence, plans to enter the list of the top 3 countries in the world in terms of AI solutions development by 2030, and is working on the AI Center of Excellence and Sandbox projects.
- In 2025, the Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to launch proactive services in Diia, artificial intelligence development, military projects, and integration of technologies in all areas.
Diia: new services and countries
In 2024, the number of Diia users reached more than 21 million Ukrainians. There are already 28 documents and more than 30 services available in the app, and more than 130 services are available on the Diia portal.
Ukrainians have received dozens of new services in Diia, including Marriage Online. Ukraine became the first country in the world where the entire marriage cycle can be completed in the app. In particular, you can make an offer through Diia. More than 1.7 million proposals have already been made in the app. In addition, Marriage Online in Diia was included in the TIME Best Inventions 2024 list in the Apps & Software category.
Also this year, educational documents became available in Diia. In addition, veteran’s certificates, marriage, divorce, and surname change records were added. Among the services:
- a comprehensive service for launching or scaling a business;
- Winter eSupport, which has become the most massive ever;
- electronic booking;
- grants for training;
- recruitment to the Army of Drones, etc.
Plans of the Ministry of Digital Transformation for 2025
The Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to further develop the digital state next year. This includes the launch of proactive services in Diia, consular services, and services for drivers.
There are also plans to update the CDTO Institute, including the launch of four new faculties at CDTO Campus – GovTech, Cyber, AI, and the Action Faculty – to train digital leaders. Also, the relaunch of UNITED24 and Brave1.
At the beginning of February, we are preparing to launch the Digital State UA platform, which will unite all Ukrainian initiatives in the areas of GovTech, IT and Tech in the international arena. This will allow us to attract contracts for our IT business, innovations and investments in the public sector.
In addition, military projects and strengthening of the military sector remain a priority. A special focus is on the development of artificial intelligence and the total integration of technology into all areas.
