The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced the launch of Digital State UA, a platform that will unite all of Ukraine’s GovTech, IT and Tech initiatives in the international arena. The team made a presentation at the Tallinn Digital Summit.
Digital State UA unites the ecosystem
The launch of the Digital State UA is a new stage in the development of the digital state, which covers the key achievements of Ukraine:
- GovTech: The Diia ecosystem, which unites more than 21 million users, has become a symbol of digital disruption. Together with projects such as Diia.Business, Diia.Education, and Diia.City, Ukraine demonstrates unique experience in public services.
- IT: The Ukrainian IT sector is extremely innovative and competitive, and we have a lot to offer governments and other countries. Ukraine also has e-residency programs, CodeUA and Diia.City.
- Tech: Ukraine creates favorable conditions for investment and development of global technology products.
Digital State UA is a showcase of digital Ukraine
“Digital State UA is an important initiative for the Ukrainian tech sector, as we strive to open up our innovative approaches to the world and share our experience in launching digital products. Our goal is to attract investments, innovations, and partnerships for Ukrainian businesses,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology.
According to him, the launch of Digital State UA is the next step towards Ukraine’s development as a leading digital state that inspires with its technology and readiness for change.
Ukraine has already confidently asserted itself internationally. In recent years, the world has learned about significant achievements in innovation and digital transformation.
“We need to unite the efforts of all stakeholders to communicate our success story even more effectively at the international level. Digital State UA is an innovative platform that integrates key aspects of the Ukrainian digital ecosystem. It presents achievements in the fields of GovTech, IT and technology, demonstrating unique cases, such as the Diia app, innovations in defense technologies and the creation of new business opportunities,” said Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration.
In her opinion, the platform will become not only a showcase of Ukraine’s successes, but also an effective tool for attracting investment in the IT and technology sector. It will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and practices that can be adapted by other countries seeking digital transformation.
Official launch
The official launch of Digital State UA will take place in January 2025. This platform will create new prospects for international cooperation, attracting investors, and jointly implementing innovations in the areas of GovTech, IT, and advanced technologies.
The Digital State UA project is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the Digital Transformation Support Project, funded by USAID and UK Dev.
