Dell unveils new Inspiron 14 Ryzen Edition laptop

Dell has introduced its new Inspiron 14 (Linglong 14-5445) Ryzen Edition laptop on JD.com. This powerful machine is equipped with an 8-core 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for smooth multitasking and demanding applications.

Users can choose between a 14-inch Full HD or 2.2K IPS touchscreen LCD display. The FHD display starts at 3,999 yuan (approximately $552), while the 2.2K touchscreen models cost 3,999 yuan or 4,599 yuan (approximately $552 or $635), depending on the amount of storage.

Dell Inspiron 14 weighs just 1.56 kg and is 16.9 mm thick, making it a great choice for those who value portability. In terms of connectivity, it offers a good selection of ports, including a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, an SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The 2.2K touchscreen has a brightness of 300 nits and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, providing a vivid viewing experience. For its price, the laptop really has a good set of features. Also, giving customers the option to choose if they want a better display is a great touch of customization – something all consumer electronics brands should start doing.
