Chery is set to host its 2026 Chery Global Innovation Conference in Wuhu on October 20th, under the theme “Change.” This pivotal event will see the company unveil its first industry-specific large AI model, marking a significant stride in its transformation from an automotive enterprise to a global intelligent technology company. The conference will also chart Chery’s roadmap for its “Yaoguang 2035” plan, heavily leaning on intelligent AI technologies.

AI-Powered Automotive Evolution

At the heart of this transformation is the new industry-specific large model, designed to be the technological foundation for Chery’s AI ambitions. This model integrates Chery’s cutting-edge capabilities in computing power, algorithms, and data. Furthermore, the company will showcase automotive-grade chips specifically engineered for physical AI world models. This development is poised to usher the automotive industry into a new era of systematic AI-driven vehicle manufacturing, while simultaneously opening new avenues for addressing real-life challenges through technology.

Innovations Across Mobility and Energy

The conference will highlight advancements in various sectors. In mobility, Chery is set to debut the “Falcon” driving assistance system and the “Lingxi Smart Cabin,” both featuring continuous upgrades and wider integration into vehicles. A highlight will be the unveiling of an industry-first, globally designed, pre-installed Robotaxi, signaling a commitment to autonomous ride-sharing. Adding another dimension to mobility, the “Lingxiao eVTOL” will demonstrate enhanced freedom of movement in three-dimensional airspace.

In the energy domain, Chery is establishing a comprehensive ecosystem for energy acquisition, storage, transmission, and application. The company will globally premiere its AC V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology and fast-charging solutions. This initiative is further solidified by Chery’s strategic signing ceremony with State Grid on October 16th, which officially commenced the construction of the first V2G large-scale operation station for vehicle-grid interconnection.

Robotics and Commercialization

Chery is also making significant strides in embodied intelligence. The “Mojia Robot” has already been deployed in over 100 scenarios, including education and healthcare, demonstrating consistent operational performance. A major announcement will be the global debut and commencement of pre-orders for “Mo Bao,” the first consumer-grade humanoid companion robot designed for home use. This launch signifies a crucial step towards commercializing Chery’s robotics advancements, bringing them into everyday life.

Additionally, Chery’s intelligent agricultural machinery product matrix will be presented at the conference, showcasing the company’s diversified technological applications beyond the automotive sector. The “Change” theme underscores Chery’s commitment to pioneering innovative technologies and reshaping its position in the global technology landscape.
