ASUS Zenfone was a compact flagship on the market. The Taiwanese brand is reportedly working on the next generation of Zenfone devices. They are allegedly called Zenfone 11 and Zenfone 11 Ultra. The latter was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG and SDPPI certification sites. Now Zenfone 11 Ultra has appeared in leaked renders and specifications.
ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra renders and specifications leaked
A Reddit user spotted an image of the Zenfone 11 Ultra in the latest ROG Phone 8 firmware. Leaked renders and specifications suggest that the device could be a rebranded version of the ROG Phone 8, but with some changes. If this turns out to be true, the Taiwanese brand will move away from the compact flagship tag, unless a standard Zenfone 11 variant appears.
The leaked images show the Zenfone 11 Ultra with the same design as the ROG Phone 8. It has a flat bezel and a protruding black camera module. There are also several diagonal lines on the back, and the device itself can be seen in Skyline Blue, Verdue Green, Dessert Sienna, Eternal Black, and Misty Grey colors. Of course, there is no ROG branding on the phone. A leaked image of a retail box confirms the name ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra.
The Reddit user also shared the specs of the Zenfone 11 Ultra. It will be equipped with a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 144 Hz LTPO refresh rate. The refresh rate is lower than the 165 Hz of the ROG Phone 8 series. In terms of optics, the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Gimbal OIS sensor combined with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 32-megapixel telephoto lens.
Under the hood, the specs indicate that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. A 5500 mAh battery with support for 65W and 15W wired and wireless charging.
