Asus has unveiled the powerful ROG Strix 2024 gaming laptop, which is now available for pre-order in China at a price of 10,499 yuan ($1,478). The official launch of this laptop is scheduled for January 9. Let’s check out the key specifications of this laptop.

The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch 2.5K Starry Cloud display with a narrow bezel, which provides a high refresh rate of 240 Hz, 500 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The ROG Strix 2024 is powered by a 13th Generation Intel Core i9-13980HX processor with 140W of power consumption, capable of reaching 135W in single-core stress tests. It is paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card for enhanced gaming and multitasking performance.
The laptop is equipped with Glacier Cooling Architecture 3.0, which has 3 anti-dust fans, 7 heat pipes and 374 ice fins for efficient cooling. It utilizes second-generation Violent Bear liquid metal for efficient heat dissipation, resulting in a total power consumption of 195 watts. In addition, the laptop is equipped with a 90 Wh battery with 100W Type-C PD fast charging support, capable of reaching 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
The Asus ROG Strix 2024 supports Dolby Vision, TÜV eye protection, and DC brightness control for improved image quality and eye comfort. It is equipped with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD with an expandable capacity of up to 64GB of RAM.
The gaming laptop offers versatile connectivity options, including 2 Type-C ports (one with DP1.4 and 100W fast charging and the other with Thunderbolt 4), 2 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, a headphone jack, HDMI 2.1 port, and an Ethernet port. It also boasts WiFi 6E and HDMI 2.1 support for fast and reliable network and display connections.
