Recently, POCO announced that it will soon launch the POCO X6 and POCO M6 Pro 4G series in India. The launch date of these devices has been officially announced, and now it seems that the chipsets they will run on have been confirmed.
Technical specifications of POCO X6 Series and POCO M6 Pro 4G
The Chinese brand plans to launch these three smartphones in India on January 11, 2024. The announcement will feature POCO X6 5G, X6 Pro 5G, and M6 Pro 4G models. The launch date was revealed with the help of a teaser poster, which also revealed details of the chipsets of the upcoming devices. Judging by the tweet, the company confirms that the POCO X6 Pro 5G model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC.
For those who don’t know, this processor is said to be on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is Qualcomm’s 2023 flagship processor. Based on what we know so far, the X6 Pro will have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The POCO X6 5G, on the other hand, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Similar to the Pro variant, it may also offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage on the top model.
Finally, the POCO M6 Pro 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which is also expected to be paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
