Acer has launched its new EP130K portable monitor, featuring an e-paper display designed for comfortable, glare-free viewing akin to paper. This innovative device is aimed at users who spend extended periods in front of screens and outdoor workers who need a clear display in various lighting conditions.

EP130K: Key Features

The EP130K boasts a 13.3-inch diagonal screen. In its black and white mode, it offers a sharp resolution of 3200 x 2400 pixels at a 60Hz refresh rate. For color content, it supports a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, also at 60Hz, and can display up to 4096 colors. The E-Ink technology provides a grayscale (GtG) response time of 20ms, ensuring smooth visuals for its intended use cases. Furthermore, the monitor is compatible with touch and digital pen input, making it a versatile tool for note-taking, drawing, and interactive applications.

Connectivity is handled by one mini HDMI port and two USB-C ports, with the USB-C ports supporting a single-cable solution for both display and power. An audio output is also included.

Acer’s Expanded Display Lineup

Alongside the EP130K, Acer has also introduced other new display solutions. These include the PD163Q P3, an external screen composed of three 15.6-inch FHD 50Hz panels with 250 nits brightness and low color gamut coverage. Additionally, Acer has released the C350e, a portable LED smart projector delivering 350 ANSI lumens with FHD resolution.

These new additions underscore Acer’s commitment to offering a diverse range of visual display technologies catering to different user needs, from productivity and outdoor work to entertainment and presentations.
